OneTec on Video: The £3–£5 Per Machine Challenge, Part Two

The challenge was simple: put between £3 and £5 into each machine and keep moving. Part two of the Hairy Slotters OneTec series was filmed before the late-2020 lockdown, giving viewers a tour of the floor one short session at a time.

The original report highlighted Bar 7 and Bar 10, along with Big Breakfast, Doctor Who, The Great Escape, Haunted House and The Simpsons. Moving between those cabinets gave the episode plenty of variety instead of spending the whole video on one game.

That small budget per machine shaped the pace. Sometimes a cabinet had something to show quickly; sometimes it was time to move on. A brief session was entertainment, not a reliable test of what a machine would return over time.

The premiere had its own social side. The report recorded more than 50 people in the live chat, talking about the games and future visits while the episode played.

The footage now also serves as a record of OneTec at that point in 2020. Enjoy it for the machines and the company, while remembering that today’s floor may be different.
