Hot Shot by JPM: the circular feature board and £15 jackpot

Hot Shot puts a large circular display in the middle of the action. JPM surrounds its central number window with coloured positions and cash markings, then frames the circle with two tall ladders. The red-and-gold title fits the machine's bright, warm-looking glass.

The left ladder rises through the cash values to a £15 jackpot. On the right, the nudge ladder starts beside the reels and continues up the main board. Both are visible at the same time as the circle, giving the player several distinct areas to follow.

Above the circular display is a group of named features. Lower down, round bonus-style panels sit near the bottom of the board. The design is dense, but the circle remains the obvious focal point rather than being lost among the other lamps.

Three physical reels occupy the lower glass. A row of numbered blue circles runs beneath them, tying the bottom game visually to the round shapes on the main board. The cash and nudge ladders extend alongside this area instead of stopping at the top glass.

The photographed cabinet is the £15 version. Its controls include three Hold buttons and the main Start control, with the familiar Hi and Lo markings on the lower panel.

Hot Shot's character comes from that compact central circle and the ladders wrapped around it. It is a much more useful way to remember the machine than calling it a generic example of mechanical-reel technology.
